The Lands Committee is meant to help our leadership make informed decisions by providing community-based recommendations on key decisions, including law development and other policy decisions related to our land. As we develop more laws under Land Code authority, the role of the Lands Committee will continue to change and grow.

We, the people of TlkemchEEn, pledge to assert and exercise our inerent right, title and responsiblility to practice and protect our traditional Indigenous self-government based on Nlaka'pamux values, cultural and heritage.
Mission
We will accomplish our goals of achieving a strong healthy self-sufficient First Nation with the wisdom and guidance of our elders, the energy and education of our youth and with respect to our fellow human beings and the natural environement.
